Routine Scan

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. This is just a routine scan. There are no new symptoms and the blood work has been good.

that's great. What type of metastatic breast cancer do you have? I welcome my scans because if negative that's (mostly) reassuring, and if positive, then i can move to a better more effective medication. May those new better meds keep rolling off the line for another 10 years to keep me alive!

I still worry about scan results, but after 3 years, the anxiety is less and I know it is out of my control. Having said that, my centre just got MyChart, so for the first time, I have the choice to view scan prior to seeing Oncologist. Not sure if I will

So true, I am going to write that quote down and refer to it often. Its early days for me but I am letting my thoughts dictate my day and I know I am wasting my good days.

I still have days and moments, impossible not to. But I feel good most days, travelling twice a year - 2 weeks each time and enjoying life
