Thanks Trish! I enjoyed reading that article as it was easy for a simpleton like me to understand. Some of the scientific stuff is a challenge. 😬

While I really hope that the breakthrough leads somewhere good I hope more than anything that it leads to affordable treatment for us all. Some of the new treatments are very expensive and in a subsidised health system they aren’t readily available if there’s something that’s reasonably effective and cheaper.

All the best

Kerry

So amazing! I wonder how long it will take to be made available to a wider range of patients. Such spectacular research. Thanks for sharing, Trish! Linda

Greeetings: Sister/Warrior/Advocate😇👍. This is promising for Lymnphoma, and leukemia patients. I have seen other studies for breast cancer, and other cancers using T-cell therapy. I hope pray the Dr's/engineers can perfect this study to make the outcomes even better for all cancers. Amen😇🙏

The CAR-T cells are used for blood cancers but according to this article, this TIL therapy involves taking a patient's own white blood cells directly from their tumor and growing and artificially enhancing them to better attack their cancer. Granted, very early for T-cell therapy for tumors but there is progress!
