1. I have been scheduled for a liver biopsy. Never had one before so I am interested in any comments from those with experience. Thanks
2. I recently am exhibiting failure on Xeloda (after about 9 months). They are switching me to Trodelvy. It is one of those new ones that are tied up with antibodies for activation. Is anyone else on it yet? Good results and side effects input would be appreciated.

Liver biopsy is really a non event as you are heavily anesthetized. I woke up with a bandaid. The area was a touch sore for a day or two, but really not a big deal.
I've had two liver biopsies. The second was a better experience than the first. Both I was awake for as they were CT guided. I was given something via IV for pain but I was still fully aware of the room. The first time, it was hard to find the cancer so it was more painful and strange listening to the team trying to locate it. Second time, it was larger and so it was easier to find on the imaging and much quicker and less uncomfortable. Spent a short time in recovery after and then home soon after! Good luck!
