Has anyone experienced a burning feeling in your back shoulder area? I have noticed it for about 3 months. I am on my 6th cycle of Ibrance and Letrozole.

I have burning in my entire upper back - lower rib cage neck shoulders. When l told the doc we did a spinal mri thankfully negative for spinal cord mets. My guess is neuropathy caused by pressure on nerves from the spine bones which have lots of mets plus arthritis when there is inflamation bones swell and even more press on nerves causing neuropathy. Mine doesnt lat that long whrn it happens but l sure could do without it!

Hi I experienced chest pain when I cough the first month I was in it . My Dr told me not to worry about it unless I was having hard time breathing . Maybe it’s the meds working on the Mets 🤞🏽

Hi, yes I experienced a strange/sore feeling in the upper back (on Letrozole n Ibrance)probably around the same time 6th cycle or a bit later. I agree it's likely related to nerve/neuropathy. I don't have it anymore. 👍💞

When I was on letrozole, I had extreme pain in my hip joints. I switched to anastrozole, and now I have pain in the groin and in my right shoulder. Someone here said that these AIs go after the synovial membrane. Synovial fluid, produced by the membrane, lubricate joints and ligaments. That seems to be the case with me -- tendons are inflamed and painful. My pain moves around some. The shoulder pain -- just on the right -- moves down my arm. I can't raise my right arm above my shoulder, laterally (when it is out to my side; I can go straight up vertically). Someone with a sports injury told me that is the rotator cuff.

So that is my guess about your pain, that it is the letrozole. It could have chosen to move down my back, I think.
