First of all, I want to thank you for all the moral support which helped me through the worst of it. The plan is processing but not as speedily as I had expected. Tomorrow, I will be going back for the third session at Columbia Presbyterian hospital in NYC where they will be doing another scan to determine when it will all happen. Hopefully, the decisions, as to the time frame et al., will be made next Wednesday. I am more or less calm about it all, now, and ready for whoever they decide.

God bless you and prayers for successful surgery! ๐๐๐๐ป๐๐ป
๐๐ค๐ค hang in there jj. I'm headed for the OR myself on my birthday to try to fix an old problem. I think it's definitely time to start praying.
๐ฏ artificial hip joint failure. Metal head of femur has worn away silicone cup liner & locking ring & gone through the metal socket cup & is up into the pelvis.
Correction:"Whatever" rather than "whoever'.
Sending out positive thoughts and prayers to you. Hope they come up with a good plan and that everything will go perfectly.
Bless you as you face your surgery. I pray for the surgeons wisdom and skill as he cares for you. Love ,
Marianne

Prayer for both Jersey-Jazz and OneLump22.
Today, Friday, I went to the heart hospital for yet another scan. With the TAVR, the calcium must be severely thick, which it is, and the stenosis must be severe as well. The opening must be small enough to have the animal part and the metal ring seat in securely on top of the existing valve which gets forced to open widely.. Evidently, I am on the cusp. Today's scan will spell it out for the doctors . They will meet on Wed morn and make decision to do surgery immediately or to wait until the stenosis is worse and the opening is smaller. I'm good, now, with whatever the decision is. I just want to know the plan.
Thank you so much, all of you, for the kindnesses, good wishes and prayers. It all lifts me up. As you can see, there are others that are suffering so much more than me. Thank you again!
Col. Pres is great for heart treatment! I get my mbc treatment there, and it is not rated highly for that -- but I am just down the block on Fort Washington. Let me know if you need anything...
I never go to the Met. I am culturally impoverished. I don't seem to have enough time; just getting the basics done takes so much, and then I have to nap. I do go to the theater sometimes; lately, I go to dance performances. My cousin does film restoration and I have to go to her screenings. A couple coming up at MOMA. Her company is called IndieCollect.
We are going to be friends! I love the theatre, mostly straight plays. However, booked two cheap tickets for next Wed matinee to see Moulon Rouge(spelling?). I saw it first time in 2015 when I had all sorts of company from England and from Scotland in the midst of the worst time of the Chemo. Back then, I was more optimistic. I love the show.
