My CT scan showed bronchial wall thickening. An internet search states that this indicates cancer so l assumed it meant progression of disease. Wondering if anyone else has had this report - my doc says she isn't concerned because this is an unusual presentation for metastatic breast cancer. I appreciate any feedback offered.Wishing all of you the best.

Bronchial wall thickening.
Just because it’s unusual, doesn’t mean it can’t happen does it? When my lobular went to my stomach lining everyone was shocked. They shouldn’t have been, it favors the digestive tract. Why didn’t my oncologist catch that? If you’re concerned, I’d get a second opinion.
If you have lobular bc, rather than the more common ductal bc, it's more likely. Lobular likes to spread to tissue that lines organs. Seeing a bc specialist oncologist might be a good idea, if you haven't done that.
Thank you it is good to know. I don't have the lobular type though l have nodules along pleural fissures and have had pleural and pericardial effusion (currently have a small pericardial effusion the doc thinks will go away) - so l think my cancer likes the linings of organs as you say. Thank you for taking time to respond.
