I am so confused, my Pulmanary dr. Taking care of lung pleural effusion, and Oncologist taking care of meds, but no one has said any thing about the mass on my liver. I am stage 4 and things seem to go so slow.

Have you asked them very directly what the plan is for your liver? Unfortunately we often have to be our own advocates. Ask a lot of questions!

I have had lung pleural effusion and aspirations twice with little or no positive effect on my extreme shortness of breath issues. Unless I had been my own advocate, done much research, and kept after my docs I would still be looking for answers as to the real cause of the shortness of breath. I agree with Nocillo in that you should ask a LOT of questions. Hold the docs "feet to the fire" until you get answers.
