Outcomes of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron Variant Outbreak in Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Patients With Cancer in Europe

The Lancet Oncology: Boosted and vaccinated patients had significantly better case-fatality, hospitalisation, and complication rates than unvaccinated patients.

The bottom line seems to be this, "SARS-CoV-2 vaccination continues to be the most effective tool to improve COVID-19 clinical outcomes in patients with cancer."

Thank you Hazelgreen - good to see that the benefits of vaccination already seen in the general population apply to cancer patients as well. 💜🙏🏼

Dear one--------Thank you for always informing us of pertinent, useful information. Since I was vaccinated and boosted twice, I fear very little when I go out.

Thank you. My sense was this is true so nice to see it backed up. Like Jersey Jazz I don’t have a lot of fear as I am vaccinated and boosted. I did get COVID but it was very mild.

I had COVID-19 a few weeks ago. Felt like a bad cold. Doctor did not recommend any treatment because they cause GI issues and I have enough of those from treatment
