I haven't had colon problems from Faslodex. As far as I know. From the whole treatment, the Faslodex, the Ibrance (75 mg) and the Xgeva (every three months) I am sometimes tired and breathless. I go to the gym and dance classes but I think the getting-slightly-out-of-breath and of course the bad hair (with a capital B) are the main side effects

Hi Mel pub. I take the same mds as you. So far, few side effects. I get shortness of breath but still exercise. My hair is breaking my heart.

Does the hair thinning keep getting worse, I’ve been on Faslodex gain e last June. It started thinning about 3 mo ago. Maybe it’s Ibrance

Hi, I was told by my doctor's office that Ibrance causes thinning of hair and in some cases it can cause hair loss.

I think it's both the Faslodex and the Ibrance! Mine is still thinning and frizzy! Yuck!

Exactly. Mine too. Frizzy

I was wondering, does your hair continuously thin while your are on Ibrance or does it ever "even out"? After so many months does the thinning slow down?

My hair is flyaway dry. Have tried many types of grease, fancy and not. I guess a professional blow dry would be the only way but takes tooooo muccchhhh timmmeeee. Have to emphasize my cleavage and my wit and hope whomever doesn't care too much about hair.

Hi , I take faslodex with Piqray. I take micronozed L-Glutamine to help my stomach at nite on an empty stomach . One little scoop of 5kmg. of L-Glutamine in 8 oz of water . My naturopath told me about it . It helps the mylen sheathing (lining)of the stomach. I think it's the Piqray, not the Faslodex that upsets my stomach however.

Hope that helps.

I'm sorry about the Covid . I got sick on Pacletaxel when I was getting the IVs. I got high dose vitamin C IVs 50k and took Zinc which helped my immune system. You can get 25 k vitamin C drips as well. I am used to the drips so get higher dosages .

You have to go to an alternative doctor or Naturopath to get the vitamin C drips .

Boseypuss. That’s wonderful that you’ve had 3 years. Did you have a problem with Ibrance ?

Don't know if faslodex causes this because I had diverticulitis long before cancer dx.

Hi Susie

I’m Susie as well!! 😊

I have had diverticulitis since 2006, I have to say that since 2018 being on Ibrance and letrozole I have had many more bouts of it. My oncologist feels it’s more the Ibrance that causes me to have more occurrences as a result of my lowered immune system. On her advice I have skipped a cycle of Ibrance on a few occasions and it has helped. I don’t know about faslodex but I may be switching to it in the near term so we shall see….
