Large red spots.

I have quite a few red spots come up on the cancerous breast which are sore and large. I have found that talcum powder helps to keep them controlled. Do any of you have this problem and if so do you have any advice as to what to use? All the best to you all. Thank you 😊

Please contact your doctor about your situation. A biopsy will determine whether it's just a rash or something that may require additional local or systemic treatment. Concerningly, if you just leave them alone and/or self-treat, they may get worse.

Yes I came here to say the same thing as Bestbird. You really should get that looked at by your oncologist asap and not try to self-treat it. Wishing you well!

The oncologist has seen it and so has the doctor but they didn't say what it was apart from the fact that the tumors will break through the skin and I will bleed a lot as I am on blood thinners. So just have to wait for that to happen. Thank you so much for replying 💕

I’m very sorry to hear that’s what they expect will happen. Perhaps look for the most natural form of powder possible (vs standard talcum powder). Many standard talcums also have synthetic perfumes which may aggravate your skin further. I think California Baby sells one for babies that is for sensitive skin(check the ingredients though). Use Google search to see if there are suggestions online for an appropriate product for your specific situation. Sloan also has resources online - they may have suggestions

I’m so sorry you have those. Are they painful ? Would a cool cloth help ? There has to be something maybe ask a pharmacist Stay strong 🙏
