Lots of farting on Ibrance

Oh yes but frankly it's a minor side effect so I don't worry about it 😀

Yep. Embarrassing but a pretty minor side effect compared with others.

Not with that particular treatment but Susie is doing canabis oil via suppositories and that causes a lot of gas. I've told her to let it all out, she trumps, we laugh. Of all the horrible side effects of this disease and it's treatments, the trumps are the funniest to this 43 year old child! Fart and laugh, go for for it! XXX ♥️

Yes, I have that side effect, too. When I asked the Ibrance pharmacist about it, they said that was not a side effect they knew about. It is embarrassing sometimes. I have always had irritable bowel syndrome since I was young and had gas issues so I think these meds might just increase that. I have smoothies every day with Kefir and almond milk and was thinking that might contribute too. Last week I was at my daughter's home and they had oat milk instead of almond milk. I experienced much less gas while using that so I am going to switch. Sorry for the long post!

I have ibs too. I think the ibrance makes it worse!

Luckily I do not have other IBS symptoms with the Ibrance like I used to have. My stomach was always a mess and had lots of bowel issues before, but the Ibrance and Letrozole have not increased those issues. Hugs to you!

It was a major problem for me when I was on Xeloda. Huge amount of bloating and stomach upset, but it has been much improved on Ibrance. I only get this if I eat too much and then I suffer. When I get gas I experience nausea and diarrhea. Not pleasant.

Yes! I thought it was because of all the pain medicine and it will clear a room.
