ErSO update

Many of you asked to post the update. Here is the update posted on Facebook in “ErSO activism for breast cancer”

Hello Friends,

We thought we would post an update from the admins of the page with what we currently know about the status of ErSO. As best we can tell we still believe that the ErSO program is in active pre-clinical development with Bayer and believe there will be an update on the status of the program from Bayer before the end of the year. Hopefully this will inform us as to whether (and maybe when and where) ErSO will proceed to Phase 1 clinical trials. We have multiple alerts in place to monitor different internet news sources and social media sites so if any news becomes available we will be sure to post it as soon as we see it. We hope this proceeds to human trials quickly and becomes the treatment we all hope for and deserve. We are really grateful that everyone has joined the group and also for everyone’s efforts in sending letters, emails, signing and sharing petitions.

Hi Marlene,Thank you so much for your reply and for very nice words. It was very touching. I became very emotional reading your post. Since I first learned about ErSO I try to inform people and give them hope. I have faith in ErSO and believe that it will happen. We all deserve to be cured.

As a long timer (over 17 1/2 years with MBC) this is NOT the first time some drug in the pipeline has been anticipated as the cure. I hope ErSO does as well as hoped for in clinical trials with mbc patients, but I am not as hopeful about it as so many here are.

Hi, unfortunately you are right. I just received the email from Bayer that they are discontinued the ErSO I am so hopeless Would you please share your experience and lines of treatment with me. I am on my fifth one over two years which is xeloda. I had such a hope that is lost now.

Thank you so much Sandra for your positivity. I am not as positive as you are but I had so much faith in ErSO because it showed an incredible performance in mice.I am so so upset. So is everyone in our Facebook Group.
