In the primary location, I've gone from +++ to ER-/PR-/HER2+, at least from the cells that were taken.

Has anyone else had this happen? If so, what happened next, in terms of treatment?

It's good that they found out. Sorry l can't speak from personal experience but it can and does happen, treatment often has to get changed. Much better to know and deal with these things. Like always glad you are here sorry you need to be. Wish you the best. 🌺

I'm not sure if my situation is the same, but I had ER/PR positive MBC at diagnosis in 2012. In 2018 it resurfaced as triple negative and I started IV chemotherapy. I've been able to knock it back and remain stable over the past three years with immunotherapy and several types of chemotherapy. So, yes it's kind of common that it changes type. All the best to you.
