Mouth ulcers

I had experienced terrible mouth ulcers during the month of May. But they were virtually gone in June and now they have reappeared with a vengeance in mid July. I’m wondering if I had a reaction to the recent brain MRI with contrast. I can’t figure out why the ulcers returned since I am now not taking Ibrance. I use a LUMINANCE wand and can usually reduce the occurrence or Lankes of ulcers. But it doesn’t seem to be doing much good right now.

Hi. I had issues with IBrance and mouth sores when they switched from capsule to tablet. The Cleveland Clinic prescribed Dentalcidin and it helped right away. It’s toothpaste but has natural ingredients to help your mouth heal and prevent sores. Check with your doctor before using but it is over the counter. Sending hugs

HiI use Biotene toothpaste and mouthwash . You can get both on Amazon or Boots pharmacy in Uk. I had mouth ulcers month 1 and none in the last 6 months since I started using it. My daughter is a dietician and used to work on the cancer ward in a London hospital. She recommended it.

Sorry to hear you are having mouth sores. I, too, am on Ibrance and suffer occasionally with a sore mouth (no actual sores) I was prescribed gelclair. You rinse your mouth 3x day and I must say it reduced the pain so when I ate it was more bearable. I also rinse my mouth with baking soda and warm water after every meal and when I wake up and right before bed. I hope you find comfort----soon!
