Hip issues
I have not heard of this. Can you have radiation instead of surgery? Perhaps someone else here will have more info for you.
I haven’t been staged yet I’m waiting to meet with the surgeon some time next week…
Hi Lark78,I had the same symptoms on both hips. Left hip was more severe than right hip and caused me walking limp that time. Orthopedic doctor suggested to do core decompression on left hip to see if it works. The successful rate is 50~90%. Unfortunately, good luck is always not on me. It might also because I was still under treatment whole time during the recovering. However, I did walk like normal after one and half year and am able to go hiking. I just feel not enough strength on my left hip to go uphill and I use hiking poles to support . If you ask me if it’s worth to do this procedure, I would say it really different from person to person. My next step is until it’s really worse and couldn’t walk well, they will do hip replacement. Hope this experience solved your question.
Hi, I hope my comment may help! I was on Letrozole for four years no issues at all other than weight gain. I was on Ibrance for 11 months and I do have hip pain in my left hip🙏
Avascular necrosis is a lack of blood supply to the head of the femur. I have come across it in my job as a Physio. It is very painful. I am sure Sandra will be able to give you a more comprehensive reply in relation to our condition.Clare
Thank u ☺️
Yes, I had that before my diagnosis. I had a hip replacement that really wasn't that bad. In fact, it was a breeze compared to surgery I've recently had. After recovery, you will not have the hip pain if that is what they recommend. Ann.
Thank I so much for the info I see the doctor on Wednesday and I will update everyone thank u again for your support! 💖
