Hello, pretty ladies, a pleasure to greet you and wishing you all feel super good o I continue with my discomfort in my feet, the pains move from place to place. I have not taken pain reliever continuously only when the discomfort is extreme. It's definitely not my shoes, it's my feet. The dr says she doesn't see anything strange. Would it be okay to take pain reliever on a daily basis? what do you think? I work 8-10 hours a day. I need health insurance
Tylenol : Hello, pretty ladies, a... - SHARE Metastatic ...
Tylenol
I take two Tylenol once a day and switch off with 600 mags Advil. I still have pain but t s bearable.
My doc said to take Aleve and not Advil so I find it helps when I need it
Have you tried soaking your feet in Epsom salts?
I have taken pain relievers on a daily basis for several years with no problems. I don't take Tylenol, mine is stronger. You could ask the pharmacist if there are any problems with Tylenol on a daily basis. Hope this helps.
Cheers, June S.
Sorry to hear about your pain. It must be tough to have to work 8-10 hours a day especially while experiencing pain in your feet. I also have pain in my feet, especially by the end of the day. I take Advil or Tylenol later in the day if it is really bothering me. I have also frozen a bottle of water and roll my feet on it several times throughout the day. This has really helped.
I hope you are able to find some relief. 🤗
I have recently been struggling with the same thing. The pain isn't consistant - it moves from place to place and mine is mostly in my left foot. I haven't found that Tylenol or anything like that helps, but I've wrapped a cold pack around my foot followed by a heating pad. That seems to help. I've also used lidocaine patches, Vapo Rub (!), and Epsom salt soaks. They all help - it just depends on how lazy I am, how tired I am, or what I've got in the house that determines which one I use. Hope you find some relief. The pain may just disappear one day. Side effects are the oddest things.
Take care
Susan
Hello, sweet sister!
I was left with back pain following my MBC diagnosis in late 2017 (mets to spine and iliac). I have taken 2 Tylenol in the morning and 2 in the evening ever since. It has helped immensely. My oncologist is fine with that; you should not be living with pain that can be alleviated. God bless you! 💗💗🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi Maludagui!
I'll mention that i had issues with my foot recently, saw an orthopedic surgeon, and he said that mets to feet are very rare. Which I kind of already knew...?
My issue, based on x-ray, was unrelated to cancer...a "morton's neuroma"....which, in retrospect I've had for decades, just kind of ignored until my desire to run made it an issue...
So, my point is, I think this could very well be unrelated to cancer. I've found that good (not attractive, but comfortable!) footwear is key. I wear Swedish clogs, Dansko/Sanita, and they
are amazing! Wearing these shoes kept me from registering this issue for *decades*...It was only after i tried wearing running shoes that it became a problem...
My best to you! Wishing you relief! (painful feet make it very difficult to be happy!),
Lynn
Yea my oncologist said she don’t see nothing from cancer , but I have pain. I changed my shoes is better but pain again.
I take 2 Aleve each day to help with any stiffness and pain
I’d ask to get a referral to an orthopedist or someone else who specializes in feet. There is no reason to go on having your feet hurting when you are dealing with cancer. It may be totally unrelated to your problems but you will never know unless you see an expert! Just throwing pain medication at them isn’t a real reasonable solution, Good luck!
