My oncologist told me oral faslodex is in clinical trial and right around the corner to be approved. That would be a great thing!! Let’s hope it’s soon.

That is good news. I'm thinking everyone on it would rather take a pill than a shot. Also, I have read that the shots cause some pain, so a pill definitely would be better.
When I was on Faslodex, I kinda enjoyed not having to take a daily pill that reminded me that I have mbc! I got to know a couple of the nurses at the cancer center much better during the 9 plus years I was on Faslodex and they were great sources of info for me.
My Onc at Duke told me the same thing. No shots!!! That’s huge!
I get both of my shots at the same time which helps but the site pain lasts for several days. Can’t wait for the pills.
