I remember reading this story a while ago. I truly believe the best way to treat cancer in the near future will be with CAR T-Cell therapy - where your own immune system will be "super charged" so it can fight the cancer. Since everyone's cancer is specific to only them, it makes sense to use your own immune system. Fingers crossed this will be standard of care soon and highly effective. Thank you for sharing!
