Thanks for your thoughts Hannah. It was a bit rough yesterday and the wind is still gusting with heavy showers, sleet and hail today.

Though on the funny side, I'd arranged a planning briefing this afternoon on 'dealing with buildings at risk' which has had to be cancelled due to the team who were deliverying it being out dealing with buildings at risk after the storm 😊

Hi Hannah,

Thanks for thinking about us! Yesterday was really rough as Storm Ciara made landfall. We lost power for a few hours and there was flying debris. Some of our neighbours lost their fences, but other than that we got off lightly here in Suffolk. Other parts of the country have been flooded. We had high winds today, but things have really calmed down a lot compared to yesterday.

I’ve spotted a few fallen trees & Gert & Daisy, my hens, lost the cover to their run.

Also the local parks where I usually walk my dog, Teddy were closed.

The weather is calming but still quite windy.

I know what you mean! I really struggled earlier this morning with the wind while I was out walking clients' dogs. At least the sun is out now though!

Thank you Hannah. We have had every conceivable bit of weather over the past few days. Wind chill is very brrrrrrr right now in North Wales.
