Has anyone been on Xeloda and have it fail. Curious what the next tx was next for you?

Xeloda fail
Xeloda failed and now going to verzenio plus faslodex. Er positive, her2neg
When Xeloda stopped working for me I had a choice of either exemestane with everolimis or Eribulin. I chose Eribulin as my liver mets were in a bit of a state and I wanted something strong to knock them back. I’m still on Eribulin. Quick infusion, two weeks on, one week off. Good luck.
Sorry to hear this. Ive no experience to share but Im sure some of the the lovely ladies on here will be able to help. Best wishes. X
Xeloda failed me after abut 3 months. I was glad because I had a bad case of foot and hand syndrome. I then went on to taxol, which worked for about 8-9 months, followed by Eribulin for about 5-6 months. I’m now in a phase 1 clinical trial of Narabarib and Carboplatin after 5 weeks of now treatment. If this doesn’t work, then I’ll be going on Gemzar. I hope your next treatment works well. I did well on Taxol, being able to swim almost every day. Good luck.
My understanding is that you go to infusion therapy, and I just wanted to say that that doesn’t have to be awful....I was on docetaxol for 3 months earlier this year and felt pretty well...went on long walks, travelled to Seattle and Virginia....had days when I needed to rest but felt basically OK. I lost a little hair, but not enough to need a wig!
Did it work? What followed docetaxol? Sorry but this is all so confusing!
Maybe they’ll try you on docetaxol!
I hope your next treatment works well and for a long time.
Just found out Xeloda has failed after 4 cycles. Progression in liver and a little in lungs too. Next step Exemestane and Everolimus. Surprised as I’ve been following this thread and expected IV chemo. However, my oncologist’s thinking is that my cancer has responded to hormone and targeted therapy (letrozole as mono therapy then Faslodex plus Palbociclib) in the past but hasn’t responded to chemo (Xeloda and Epirubicin).
Thank you all!
Looks like it’s Inprenza.
Hopefully someone will have had experience with it.
There’s not a lot of info outside the generic prescribing info
Thank you! Yes, it’s chemo only at this point for me.
Which chemo did you end up on? My Xeloda stopped working last October & I have been on Eribulin since November 18th-it’s been interesting but it’s working so worth the change from oral to iv treatment
