I think this has been mentioned here before. Does anyone, have any info on Kistali treatment for breast cancer? I am not sure the spelling is correct.
Cheers, June S.

Hi June,Do you mean Kisqali?
Jade
I would think so. My daughter wrote to me about it and usually she gets spelling right but I did find some references to her spelling. I would guess they are the same drug. Kisquali is very expensive, like Ibrance. Do you have experience with this drug?

Hello June,
I took Kisqali for 22 rounds. I was actually NED for most of that then last Spring my tumor markers started creeping up and in October resulted in progression so I have now switched to Xeloda.
I found Kisqali pretty easy to take and my WBC was never too low to take the next round. I did start at 600 mg per day then after 3 rounds was reduced to 400 mg because of nausea and fatigue. I also took it with Letrozole. I'll be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Best, Audrey
Thanks Audrey. Great info. May I ask where you live? I am in Ontario Canada.
Cheers, June S.
I live in the US (Florida) although last night it was 36 degrees. Too cold for this Florida girl.
That is cool for you Floridians but it will probably be short lived. For us, we are in Celsius but cold and staying cold. We miss Florida. Used to go every winter down to Port Charlotte. So loved the shopping and the wonderful community centre there. And we had a very good friend who lived there 6 months of the year also. So that was nice. She is older and so had to sell her place last year. She can't go down anymore.
Cheers, June S.
