Had a surprise call from my oncologist yesterday, she wanted me to know how pleased she was with my first 6 months scans. Fluid in lung has gone, lymph nodes down, nodules reduced and bones improved. No numbers but I expect that will be in the copy letter I get that goes to my doctor. So I danced around the kitchen! Together with the the dozen red roses received from my newish online romance, it was a good day and makes me think I have things to enjoy and look forward to at the moment! And perhaps all the endorphins whizzing around will help even more!
Looking forward to the online meeting tonight. Carolyn x

Carolyn - Fantastic news, on both fronts! (heart) Don't you just love when you're so happy you have no choice but to dance? Life is good...
Hi Carolyn,
That is really good news! The roses are beautiful. You must be feeling so happy right now. See you tonight. I can't wait to meet you and the other ladies!
Well I've not done this before and having been on my own for nine years since my late husband died, I though, I'm not leaving any stones unturned, I'm going out with a bang rather than a whimper!
So happy to read your good news, Carolyn! And sorry that I was unable to attend the Zoom meeting yesterday. Maybe a future one! Congratulations and prayers for your continued good news and happy days!
That is so nice. And you have a nice oncologist! When I had a good scan, she said, "You should be happy," but didn't really make it sound that good. She never gets in touch with my primary. And you have an online relationship. I would never be that brave. What is this Zoom?
I zoom all the time. I am about to give my first paper with slides via zoom. A bit nervous about how that will go, switching from screen sharing to person viewing, back and forth, while talking. I was asking what this particular zoom was, but now I know, and know they are all booked until January. Maybe I or someone else can take up the slack and organize some other zooms since they seem to be in high demand!
Sounds good, sorry I misunderstood. The screen switching isn't too bad. I managed to show something at a recent embroiderers' guild meeting. I just opened all the docs on my desktop first. Maybe see you sometime.x
