I’ve just seen my Oncologist and my recent scan after being on elacestrant for eight weeks is stable!
I’m so pleased and I hope this gives everyone hope that the oral SERD is showing some positive results 👍
Thinking of everyone on this forum who may be facing progression and treatment challenges at the moment and wishing you well. My very close friend has just been diagnosed with multiple lesions on her spine ... I’m very upset for her....

Hi Jo,
That is wonderful news! I'm so happy for you. I hope you continue to do well on this treatment for a long time.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis. Does she have bone cancer or is it metastatic disease?
Not quite sure yet ... lots of tests and a biopsy should give her more information going forward..... not sure what type of cancer or where the primary is yet.....
Your friend must be so worried. I hope she finds out soon what is going on, as I think the waiting to start treatment is the worst thing. The longer you wait the more likely you are to start imagining all sorts of things. Please keep up posted on how your friend is getting along.
Stable is great news Jo after just 8 weeks on the oral SERD ! Have you had any side effects on it and will it continue as current ? So pleased for you ! I hope your dear friend gets on a good treatment soon too . Much love x
Jo, great news! I didn’t realize your name was Jo. I get a smile out of Sunnydrinking whenever I see it, not sure I can give it up for Jo!
I’m sorry you got good news at the same time your friend got bad news. I have a lot of spinal lesions and except for the usual up and down snags am doing pretty good. Be positive for your friend. Is hers MBC also? Introduce her to us so we can support her also.
