Someone posted that their mother stopped losing hair while on Ibrance when it stopped being effective. I’ve noticed that I seem to be filling in with hair where it had thinned. Is it power of suggestion, hair is really long because I haven’t been to a salon since February or real? Out of curiosity, of those whose hair thinned while taking Ibrance, did your hair start regrowing when there was progression? My last scans showed an additional lung spot that radiology couldn’t decide if it was an infection or another tumor. Everything else was stable.
On a happier note, I ordered my ebike yesterday and am looking forward to receiving it hopefully at the end of August. I will try to post a picture and perhaps a mini review for those that may be interested.
Peace!

I had my hair shaped in March and a lot had shedded out but I was dealing with that before the meds. In the middle of May when everything opened back up I went back and she said it was growing and then the same thing in June. I've noticed the past few months the hair in the shower and brush is normal. All my lab numbers are going down. So for me it was less stress, I started eating and I was getting healthier.
My hair seems to thin off and on. Right now it is thinning again. Fortunately, I have thick hair. Unfortunately, it is fine. I start my 40th round of Ibrance/Letrozole Monday. I don't wear a wig. I bought a few but none fit right. My measurements are off for any to fit me correctly. And to top it off, I am terrible at styling hair. Blessings, Hannah
What are your juice recipes? Are you used to the 125mg side effects? What are they and how bad are they? I am now on 100mg with my new doctor. Was on 75mg. Think he wants to go to 125mg. Thanks
My hair thinning slowed after 8 months and I didn’t have progression ( now 2 1/ 2 years on ) . It is in need of a good trim now tho ‘ as neglected during lockdown ! x
Hope you enjoy your e-bike as much as I enjoy mine ! Take care ! x
My hair is so thin and still thinning. It makes me so sad. I am going for a wig fitting today. I have been on ibrance for just over a year,
I have been on ibrance for approx 24 months , after about 5-6 months my hair started to thin considerably . After a few weeks of thinning it stopped and started to grow back . All my scans were good during the regrowth time . But my hair texture has changed . It is frizzy & dry and has unusual kinks in it . I cut it short hoping this would help but it didn’t .
From what I have read hair thinning on ibrance is a very common side effect .
I won "prettiest hair" in high school. (It was very long and thick and shiny and golden blondish/brownish.) Now I'm age 60 and I've been stable on 125 mg Ibrance and 2.5 mg of Letrozole for 4 years. My hair continues to thin and I have maybe 1/4 the hair I used to have in my youth and 1/2 the hair I had since starting Ibrance. Interesting post! It made me feel GOOD about continued hair loss! (I invented an ironic twist on an old saying a few years ago: " 'Tis better to have been hot at one time, than never to have been hot at all." Ha! I practice gratitude for having what little hair I do have. (I suppose someday I'll be on infusion chemo and be completely bald---so I might as well enjoy my hair while I have it!)
Ive read lots of posts on here where hair falls out then stops. Happened to me thinned significantly then stopped. comes out more again now. Eyebrows more of less gone, boo , but on the upside not much leg and armpit growth. Hurrah.
No link on progression of mbc I dont think, not had negative implications for me as kept stable and even some small reductions. Hope that helps you not to worry.
