My short walk

Went for am quick stroll around the block. These are just around the corner to where I live. The largest Chinese gate in Europe and a closed down Liverpool School for the Outdoor Blind. Something different for today.

Makes a walk much more interesting ! On mine I see horses, cows, sheep, goats and donkeys ! 😂

I only have to go 2 mile up the road and I can also see the wild life. Best of both worlds. Well, not donkeys but isn’t it all great. When I see all this I forget everything else. Xx

Hi Teddie,

I see horses, cows, sheep, goats and donkeys on my walks too! Along with the odd muntjac deer, rabbits and squirrels. I have nicknamed the sheep that I see "sheeps" (not very original, I know!) and some of the animals I don't know the names of I've also nicknamed. I get such a kick out of seeing them. They often come up to the fence to say hello too.

I enjoy both. There is so much history here and I never really explore it. Always busy with other not so important things xx

OMG, I have such mixed feelings about the wonderful photos folks are sharing! I'm more than a bit envious (I typically pay big bucks to see sights like this...count yourself lucky that they're free!), but so happy to see that others are living, strolling, etc., in interesting places! Thank you so much for sharing! :)

Yes it’s all free. When I’m able to I will walk to the Cathedral and take some photos. We also have an old bombed out church which won’t be demolished. The shell is wonderful and there’s all sorts of events held there. X

Where is that?

It’s in Liverpool City Centre UK. Just 10minutes walk from our apartment.

Wow. I don't see anything like that here in Texas! But I did see a zebra in someone's pasture this weekend!

That alone would make me smile. X

Hi

Visiting Liverpool is definitely on my “to do “ list. I love your pic.

I think traveling overseas may not be wise for a while due to COVID.
