Faslodex and stomach issues

Just wondering if anyone experiences stomach issues after faslodex shots. It seems that two or three days after the shots I get cramps, bloating, vomiting. I have ended up in hospital the last two months and feel a bit nervous about my upcoming injections.

I’ve just had my first two loading doses and I must admit my stomach isn’t happy although my symptoms are no way as severe as yours

I’ve had occasional cramps and some nausea for which I’ve been prescribed an antiemetic called domperidone but I only take it if I feel sick usually in the morning

Because I take a lot of codeine for my pain I think it counteracts any diarrhoea I would get....that’s a good side as I’m normally constipated but I’m not with faslodex

I’m sure your oncologist can prescribe something for these side effects...you shouldn’t be suffering like this...tell them and don’t suffer in silence

All the best

I have been on Faslodex for 15 months. I have never had the symptoms you describe. I sometimes have bruising at the injection sites, itching, and hard areas underneath the skin. I massage the areas which helps. Also try to take a walk after the shots. I hope your symptoms get better in time.

I have been on Faslodex for 15 months and never vomited. Sometimes stomach bloating & cramps but that seems to be a side effect from other drugs too. I hope you find a remedy soon. ❤️🙏❤️

I’ve been on Faslodex since January and have had no effects except possibly an increase in my pain levels. I’ve never had stomach problems. They do say you might feel like you have the flu after the first round but that doesn’t continue. I would definitely tell your oncologist before your next set of shots. Elaine

I’m new to this site, on my third month of Faslodex and have the same symptoms. I’m controlling the nausea but not the bloating and cramps. Did your doctor prescribe anything that helped with the side effects?

Hi there. I don't use this site very often, but just noticed your post and as it was relatively recent compared to the other posts on Faslodex, I'd thought I would say hi.I had my 1st shots of faslodex a week ago. I have felt so sicky...like morning sickness ever since. I've tried eating a little toast...not eating...drinking plenty of water. Nothing takes the nausea away.

I do hope it settles with the next lot of shots...I'm not enjoying this feeling at all!

My pain in general has remained same, but I haven't got constipation, so that's a big plus!

How are you doing now? Are you still having faslodex?

Mary.

Hello- I’m no longer on Faslodex but did find that anti nausea meds, Tylenol and a heating pad helped! I hope it gets better for you!

I use a heating pad as it settles the pain. I have 2 days where I basically just sleep. Makes me exhausted.
