Hi Kiera49,

I'm so glad you're feeling positive....and better, re: the oxygen, my gosh what a relief that must be! I agree re: the stress of meeting with the doc...When I just met with mine last week, she gave me the news (good) and said "You looked really nervous!"...Um, yeah?!

Wishing you the best for great news!

Lynn

Thanks yes I feel a lot better, Glad you had good results, I know if my onc is smiling that results will be ok. Oh my word took them 6 attempts to get canula in for scan now just got to wait till 18th

Kieara, I had to grab my Victorian smelling salts to keep from fainting re: your description of the 6 attempts!!! That is like my worst nightmare! Glad you got through it and are feeling well... :)

congrats Lynn on the good results. Hoping mine are good. I have an appointment this coming Friday but I am picking up my scan results today from hospital imaging records. I wanted to know and I have a referral appointment this Thursday.

Cheers, June S.

Scan anxiety is a real thing. I hope your results are good.

I hear you - getting the news is always scary but I don’t mind the procedure.

Glad you’re feeling hopeful and look forward to hearing the results. Can’t imagine sitting through 6 attempts to hook up cannula. I always ask for someone else after 2 failed tries. I’d faint otherwise.

I’d love to take your oxygen off you. I have a collapsed diaphragm and breathing is at times challenging.

All best and good luck!

Hi Kathleen thanks, someone else had to do it in the end and he got it in first time, my arms were a bit sore. Fingers x I get it in the main hospital not the mobile one next time. All the best to you. Tracey x

Doesn’t sound like you need good luck as coming off the oxygen is amazing. You must feel so free!!

I’m wishing you good luck anyway

Thanks. Yes I do feel free and to look normal instead of people seeing me as a sickly person and feeling sorry for me
