True story....just for a laugh for today

We can all use a good laugh now and then. Was upset all day and am watching TV when a report came on the TV in US:

Funniest story ever I just heard on TV on Daily Mail. It will go viral. A mother was driving her kids to school in the family van and when she got to the school, she realized she left the kids at home. LOL....

Oh Anne Marie! That you can deal with so much and still laugh and share with us. I admire you so much!💕

in reply to nstonerocks

Oh, so you are that one person that admires me. LOL

Yes I am ONE of many. And if you knew me, I don’t exactly sprinkle false praise like fairy dust.

Not just one. We are many that care. We can understand your struggles because we have all had them ourselves. Thanks for the chuckle. Always feels good.

Cheers, June S.

Google you tube. Her reaction when she realizes the kids are not in the car. Hysterical. I needed a laugh today and this did it.

Now she was having a bad day 😂

in reply to

If you google youtube the video is out. The kids were not super young either. But it is hysterical to watch the video when she realized she forgot the kids LOL Made me laugh which is rare these days.

I know what you mean. I watch a video on FB about a Bull Mastiff named Hogan. His “voice” is a squeaky southern accent and the stories are hilarious. He gets into a lot of trouble. One of them I was laughing so much I was crying. I felt amazing afterwards. It’s called Hogan’s Adventures.

Oh, that's funny! But I get it! :) Still can't believe I got my kids through to young-adulthood with my flakiness! :) Thanks for sharing... :)

😂 brilliant

I wear glasses. I have worn them since fourth grade and need them 24/7. They are on my nightstand and the first thing I put on in the morning and the last thing I take off at night. One day I was running late for an appt. (PRE-Cancer). I could not find my glasses. I was looking everywhere. They were not on the night table, I was getting agitated because it was going to cause me to be late and I'm thinking I can barely see without them (I was not smart and did not have an extra pair of glasses then).

I finally realized I had to at least take a shower and start looking again because I needed to make this appointment.

I finally jump into the shower when the water was running from the shower head, and I then realized I had my glasses on the whole time as the water hit my glasses. I had to laugh. I could not believe it that it did not occur to me that I could see as I was looking for the glasses. Spent about 1/2 hour looking for them and not even realizing they were already on my face.

My favorite is my friend. She could not find her cell phone. She teaches at a college and was going to be late. She was really angry thinking her husband who had left for work already had moved it somewhere or taken it.

She called him and said she was furious and screaming at him What did you do with my cellphone? I can't find it anywhere. He calmly replied Have you tried looking in your hand because that is where you are calling me from, your cell phone.

She had it in her hand the whole time she was looking all over for it.

Hey, we are only human LOL

I have had similar adventures with glasses. I am like you...they are the last thing I take off and the first thing I put on!

So nice to see you still have a sense of humour with all you are going through.💕

It's all I have left and I don't laugh as much as I used to so it gave me a big chuckle and it felt good to laugh about something.

Love it

Like forgetting the baby on the bus

in reply to Gwennie123

Or I was walking through my lobby bc I had a cancer appt. and the car service was waiting outside. I said Good morning to my am doorman (sweet older man) and he said Good morning and then he said Ms. Kearns do you realize you have your slippers on? He knew I usually call car service for my appts. and that I was fully dressed while I was about to walk outside to get into the car. I look down and here I am wearing these big fluffy slippers with a rabbit's head on each foot. Thank God he said something bc I doubt the driver would have seen my feet as I got into the back seat of the car and only God knows if I would have noticed before I got to the cancer center.

I laughed so hard that I cried. When I was little we had friends who had a new "surprise" baby ten years after their other kids. The mom would tell of the time they put the baby in the car seat in the house...packed the rest of the baby stuff in the car and forgot the baby!!

😃😁my youngest son is 12 years apart from the oldest two..I would be up with him at night..and I would have to keep reminding myself that I was holding a baby , so I wouldn't drop him...and when we were to go somewhere I would dress him , put him at the door so that I would not leave him at home...😃😁😃

Thank-you for this LOL moment. I needed a good laugh, my girlfriend of 33 years went to heaven 4 nights ago after having stage IV kidney cancer from being exposed to the September 11th , 2001 debris. My other girlfriend who is not responding to any communications is in the hospice section of a hospital about 10 hours away from me with stage IV breast cancer that has spread many places in her body. I am praying for both families. I go on Youtube to watch funny videos to help me through the sorrow. All of the funny comments that followed reminded me of the LOL funny things my girlfriends did, and the funny things I have done. Thank you for putting a smile on my face, and some joy in my heart. I hope pray their family members can find peace, and joy in the comical things their loved ones did that made us all LOL. XoXoXo

I’m sorry for your losses. I’m glad that a funny story can put a smile on your face despite what is going on in your life. Hugs.

Thank you, This is the cycle of life. Both of my girlfriends are/were strong Christians who always said what ever is God's will. We enjoyed each others company until they were no longer able to do so. So me, and my girlfriends have some old great memories, and some very funny recent memories to get us through, and hopefully to get their other loved ones through this sorrowful time.

Thank-you . but I have no favorites, but I do have people that I feel more kinship with who have other in common interests. I do pray for ALL of our sister/warriors, including brother warriors, and Board Members/Administrator's, who are fighting to have more days , weeks, months, and yes years with their/our loved ones. Honestly I don't know who the board, or administrator members are unless they/you mention it. I am grateful for this site, and the board members, and administrators who keep this site running as smoothly as possible. Thank-you, and God bless you
