I’m now switching my Ibrance cycle to one week on, one week off. I have been having too many bouts of sinus and colds since 3 months now. Has anyone here ever switched to this cycle? Also the exhaustion was just too much. I’m hoping this helps me physically and mentally and hope to God I don’t get progression from the change of cycle .

Ibrance cycle
Puppy, I take it 21 days on and 7 days off. You might want to get your oncologist's opinion before you make the change. I believe that option was just a very small study and you don't want the efficacy of the drug affected. I am not sure if it has been approved yet.
Please check with your doctor before making a decision. Blessings, Hannah
My oncologist switched me to this regime about three months ago. My neutrophils would go dangerously low and it would take three weeks off to get them back up. My oncologist decided we would try this and see if it works. My neutrophils have stayed high and I feel a lot better. The week I’m taking the Ibrance I feel tired and fatigued but the week off I actually feel good. Me next scan will be in March so we will see how it worked. Good luck.
Thank you for your input. I’m a bit nervous about it but I’m so tired and just getting sick too much although neutrophils are ok. Just don’t want to hurt myself by not taking it the proper way. Let me know how your scan goes.
I will keep you up to date
As long as your onc agrees, I hope it helps you with the colds and sinus.
I guess there is a variety of dosing schedules. With our onc we need to see what works for us and still remains effective.
i was having consistent sinusitis and infections. i was changed to 14 days on and 14 days off. scans continue to be stable, NoEvidenceActiveDisease. i was still having the aforementioned challenges and recently had turbinate reduction (nose), which has lessened the infections. i spoke with Pfizer and was told there is a correlation with sinusitis and Ibrance for 1% of the population.
