After 26 weeks on chemo in 2016 I had developed neuropathy in toes and fingers , over the years it had spread to ankles but now seems to be in my calves too. I e been on ibrance 125 and letrozole almost 3 years. I have also developed chemo induced fatty liver, has anyone else experienced this. Please see previous posts if interested in my history

Thanks, Mimi

Hi Mimi

Yes I too have neuropathy from chemo. I had chemo from Jan till June. By then I had had it in my feet, feels like I am walking on crushed paper, then it went up my calfs I had numbness in my finger tips and all around my mouth. Then I went in hospital with dehydration so my Dr stopped the chemo with Taxol.

We stopped all treatment for3 months. Most of the numbness went away my face hands and calves. I still have it in my feet, Donny think it will ever go away.

This week I started Gemzar chemo. Be careful as my Dr said it could cause you to lose balance and fall.

Hope your treatment goes well. Did you have the genomic testing done yet.

Sorry for your (and all of our) situations. I have been on IV chemotherapy for 14 months (but who's counting?). I switched from taxol to taxotere a few months ago because of the increased neuropathy in my feet. But on taxotere, I also have it in my feet and hands. Sometimes my calves get sore, especially if rubbed or bumped. Is the fatty liver a common side effect?

I tried to find your profile to see what kind of chemo agent you had, but couldn't figure out where that info was. So, what kind of drugs did they use on you.

And, yes from one of your earlier posts, it's a VERY long road. I'm told I"ll be on some kind of chemotherapy (I'm stage IV) for-ever. However long that ends up being. :-/

Mimi, I am also on Ibrance 125/Letrozole. I have numbness in my feet. I had some numbness from diabetes beforehand but it has gotten worse since I have been on Ibrance. No one has mentioned a fatty liver. Blessings, Hannah

My last test show fatty liver! But the good thing is that the pet scan show not progression in lession on my spine. I start taking milk thistle to see if I can get my liver fine again.

Please research the milk thistle. I have read it is a phytoestrogen. Sorry
