I just wanted to let you all know about two local young women who have MBC from the Philadelphia area and have started this podcast. Both in their late 30s I believe. Two very different lives. It’s got humor and a lightness to it too. Here’s a segment from a local news channel where they were featured. Check out the pod cast!
Yes, they are different ladies, Barb. The women you mentioned earlier are British, but these ladies mentioned in this post are American. Having cancer is terrible at any age. I don't think it's any worse having it as a young woman than someone who is elderly, as we all want to live our lives no matter how old we are. During my last infusion I got chatting with another patient across from me who was elderly. He regretted that someone like me should have cancer, while he had already "lived his life" as he put it. But I corrected him and told him that his life was still valuable. So my point is this: your life is valuable too, Barb. I hope your oncologist or others have not made you feel that you are any less worthy of treatment because of your age.
That is so encouraging! Thank you for sharing this podcast. I love that they are advocating for more breast cancer funding to be spent on MBC research. Also educating people to look into where their donations are going. I’ll be following these ladies for sure! Thank you! ❤️🙏❤️
Greetings : Sister/warrior. The story behind these two sister/ warriors who came together to support each other, and to help other sister/warriors fighting this same fight is amazing. I will pray for these two very positive women warriors, because they are doing so much to encourage, empower, and educate others. Amen XoXoXo
Here’s the London Duo... I just checked them out too. Incredibly beautiful too. I am going to try to connect the four of them! google.com/amp/s/www.thesun...
