Unfortunately the FDA will have to test for yrs. How do I get on the test team?

I would go to the bottom of the page and push trials and see if there is a list we can get on now. If so , please post so all here can get on it. I didn't see this particular trial , but will post if I find it.

It says in 2023 there will be a trial so I might search at the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.

Also send this to your Oncologist and let him /her know that you would like to be on the list for the trial, they may know more about the trial.

Best to all , Faun 💗

When this study was posted before, I gave a print out to my oncologist and asked if that hospital would be a participating site. She dismissed it, basically: she said there are a number of trials coming up and we can look into which might be right for me. So I gather this practice is participating in other trials, and she wasn't more excited about this approach than others. I made her keep the article, though! Disappointing. I guess, though, we don't know about all the promising developments.

Yes , I will tell my Oncologist and try to call the place that are doing the trials to see if there is a list we can get on I would specifically tell your doctor you want THIS trial .

If that is the one you want .

I don't think I know better than my oncologist which trial is best for me. Maybe. I could ask my second opinion doc at MSK what she thinks.

Pragmatically, though, going into a trial that my oncologist is not participating in means leaving the practice. I would have to find a new oncologist who is participating, and see if they can get me in. I wonder if the other two or three cancer centers in NY are going to participate. That would make it possible although it is scary to leave the place that has kept me in good shape for three years. It isn't feasible for me to get into the trial in Texas and receive treatment there.

Thanks for sending this report. If they start trials in 2023 they will be encouraging participants through your local Oncologist. Hope they are successful.

Thank you for sharing this. There are so many "potential" breakthroughs out there, but when I read they'd be starting human trials early next year, it's very exciting. And for all of us, TNBC & ER/PR+!

Hello! Yes, it's very encouraging to hear about these new developments...and though they are still possibly years in the future, things may be advanced if the trials go well. IN the meantime, do remember that even now our treatments are helping us stay alive and functioning as best as possible. What an exciting field of study this is..for all cancer cures!Best wishes!
