Frankinsense Update

Well I never. Further to my post below and because the positive response thought Id have a little look. Read this link ladies....

healthline.com/nutrition/fr...

I read ages ago about some ladies rubbing frankinsense oil on but can't remember who it was now. I think maybe Sophie does and someone else. I saw some and bought it and I have been using it for a while, just because I like the smell really - it reminds me of the spa and seems to help me relax. I don't really know why the others rub it on?

Anyway, I've been rubbing it into my chest and, I really don't know if this is a coincidence but as per my other post, my chest wall mets have shrunk. It's literally just dawned on me as I was about to do my nightly rub!! That sounds a bit wrong haha.

Does anyone have any info on this please?

thanks. Josie x

Hi Josie,

Yes, it was me! I can't remember who else applies frankincense topically. My breast tumour has been shrinking a lot lately. I don't know which drug, supplement or oil may have caused it. I mentioned the shrinkage to my GP earlier this month and he said if treatment wasn't working the tumour would be growing, so I don't know what to think really. I sent you a PM.

Goodnight!

I too have been using frankincense, I put a drop on the bottom of my foot 2-3 times a week. I completely believe it has contributed to my good results of no progression and my tumor shrinking.

I put it on my right side 3 weeks before surgery...applied 3 times a day...got clear margins and it shrunk...both of which they said wouldn’t happen! But God! ❤️💕

Then I took Essiac Tea and bone mets disappeared! 😱💕

It’s like with all the extra stuff we do to help ourselves...no way of knowing if that was the magic bullet...but hey it can’t harm you so do it

no, no way to know definitively but my view is exactly that, if it doesn't hurt, no harm in trying. And have to say, I'm surprised at all the responses. It seems there's a few people on here who have tried it with seemingly positive results so it does feel encouraging. I'll continue anyway, even if just for the smell :) xx Josie xx

I’m getting some and will try it

As you say...why not as it’s harmless

Good for you, Barb! I haven't noticed any ill effects at all and hope that you have the same experience.

Me neither. I rub it on at bedtime and find the smell helps me relax as I focus on it as I try to meditate myself to sleep. It works too. X

I'm surprised at how many people use frankincense oil. I'll have to tell my oncologist when I see her in November. She will probably say there is no harm in it, but also that there are no clinical studies to show it works. I can't say I'm a big fan of the smell, but it's OK. I buy mine from Amazon. It's so cheap.

Hi Sophie... was reading the responses on this oil. Which one do you buy from Amazon AND how do you use it/apply it?

Thank you.

Maria

in reply to Libra48

Hi Maria,

I buy frankincense oil (Boswellia Carterii) from Amazon for £3.95. It's sold by "Fresh Skin". I apply it topically to my left breast first thing in the morning and again before going to bed. I add a drop or two, rub it in and then wait for it to be absorbed before I get dressed or ready for bed so that it does not stain my clothes and for full effect. I also add it to my bath, along with Epsom salts each day, or I will rotate my essential oils. I was watching a video from an essential oils expert and she said to not use the same essential oils in the bath, but to rotate them every few days. I hope that helps.

Wow, how encouraging. I'm definitely going to keep up the nightly regime, feel like rubbing it on my lymph nodes now too. xx

I remember reading about someone doing this and I am going to start. I am assuming you mix it with an oil.

Well tbh Ive just been putting around 6 or 7 dropa in my hand and rubbing it on my chest. I'm astounded by all the comments. I hadnt realised how many people were using it and with seemingly such encouraging results. It was only when I went to do my usual routine that it occurred to me that Id been rubbing it on my chest and thought its a coincidence but now Im not so sure it is with all these comments. Who knows but Im gng to continue and extend it to my lymph nodes and maybe my feet for the meridians as per the other post. X

Yes, I used it on my cervical spine mets and they aren't there anymore. My massage therapist recommended it. Also, you can put it on your feet and it hits all the meridians through them. So glad!

Mindysooty profile image
Mindysooty in reply to lynnhbtb

ahh I wondered why Boogitymom put it on her feet, that explains it. I'm doing my Reiki stage 1 tomorrow so I'll be learning all about meridians. I might start doing the same. And how fantastic about your cervical spine mets - whether or not it's the Frankinsense, fabulous for you. xx Josie xx

Have fun with Reiki! I've done a couple of levels and some extra workshops my Reiki master offered. I've been doing it for 15 years and try to do it everyday. Enjoy the weekend and soak up the good vibes!

Mindysooty profile image
Mindysooty in reply to lynnhbtb

Lynn can I ask you something about reiki. Im doing the 21 days. Im doing ok but having read quite a bit I dont feel as 'in tune' as a lot of people seem to. Will it still be working do you think?

lynnhbtb profile image
lynnhbtb in reply to Mindysooty

I'm not sure what you mean about the 21 days. Practicing for 21 days? Anyway, I'd say trust the process. If you're practicing, I think what's important is the intent that the energy is moving through you. I will say I don't always "feel" anything either. Just trust it. Hope that helps. :-) My teacher always told me to just keep treating yourself.

Mindysooty profile image
Mindysooty in reply to lynnhbtb

My teacher said I have to treat myself for 21 days then go back to see her and she'll show me how to do it on friends n family. X

lynnhbtb profile image
lynnhbtb in reply to Mindysooty

So, apparently not all Reiki trainings are alike. My level 1 training was two full weekend days and an intro on Friday evening. By the end of the weekend, we could treat ourselves and others. Reiki level 2 then allowed us to treat others distantly.

Frankincense permeates through brain barrier which is good.

I use it twice daily. I mix about 10 drops into a small dropper bottle with avacado oil.

I run around my temples then bring it down and around back of my skull. Then, for me, I Rub around my Mets in lung.

Mindysooty profile image
Mindysooty in reply to blms

Can I just ask, does the avacado oil add anything or does it just make it go firther/easier to run in? I just put a few drops in my hands n rub it on neat because I didnt really know what I was meant to do. I tried drops in the bath but that didnt seem to work. X

blms in reply to Mindysooty

I would rub directly on sites with the avocado or olive oil. Yes, it makes it spread much easier plus they are both good for you. I just picked up a small dropper bottle and mixed the oils together. A roller bottle would be nicer, just didn't get that. put a couple of drops in my palm and dip my fingers in to rub my temples and skull, then again just rub on my lung area a second amount.

I'm not on ibrance either. I believe using frankincense essential oil works!

Mindysooty profile image

Do you just rub it on neat Sophie? X

in reply to Mindysooty

Yes, I do Josie. I think some people use a carrier oil, but I rub it in neat. I only dilute it when I add it to my bath with Epsom salts, and even then I rotate the oils I use and don't use the same ones all the time.

I agree. I do many things but am happy to have decided not to continue Ibrance fairly early on. Keep up the good work and believe in yourself and your intuition.

Mindysooty profile image
Mindysooty in reply to blms

Were the side effects of Ibrance too bad for you? Ive been lucky - if you can call any of this lucky!! What I mean is Ive not sufferred too much overall. X its funny cos Ive just sort of fallen into this frankinsense thing but seem to have scored a hit. Hope it continues for me and everyone else. Xx

I took it for 5 months out of 12 last year. I just never started unless my counts were where I wanted them, unlike my oncos advice. Yes, the 125 was ridiculous and the 100 was better but it did not seem right to me--just me--I am a bit unusual when it comes to these things and I am a rebel. So far, my craziness is working well for me as I have been in remission (NED) for most of the time since I have been diagnosed from stage 3, 20 years ago to stage 4, 2 years ago.

I use Jojoba as a carrier oil...the oil is supposed to prevent skin irritation. And I use a $1 roller bottle from the Vitamin Shoppe. But if it doesn’t bother your skin you’re fine to use it straight! 😀💕

blms profile image
blms in reply to Rhwright12

apparently it does irritate the skin for many. I never tried it without the oil so not sure on my end.

Yes! Me too. I have a roller bottle of “frank” and lemongrass oils (50/50 with almond oil as the carrier oil) that I call Tumor Magic and I swear it ate/shrunk away the tumor on my chest wall. Those two oils are supposed to be the breast cancer miracle oils. Can’t hurt right? I even put a drop of frank in my coffee every now and again. Now add Ginger for inflammation and your set

Mindysooty profile image
Mindysooty in reply to BeckyHobson

Oh really. Its so strange how ive come across all this. Ive not heard of lemongrass oil, i'll have to look for some. Thanks and so pleased about your chest wall tumor. Hope and pray it foes the same with mine x

I happen to have a dear friend that is a DoTerra rep and she came over one day shortly after my recurrence and hooked me up with all these oils and refused to take a penny for any of it. Of course now I’m hooked for life lol but I swear by the stuff.

Wishing you all the best Sandra.
