CT Scan Results

Scan results good, some calcification at original site and auxiliary lymph node shows calcification. No evidence of disease progression. Has anyone else experienced this calcification? Not sure what it means.

We are living scan to scan. I don't think other people understand what this is like. Only all of you know the anxiety and fear.

When I was first diagnosed, I was so overwhelmed by all the conflicting protocols for treatment. Every specialist had a different treatment plan: oncologist, radiologist, surgeon and while I was still in shock with the diagnosis! This group makes me feel like I’m not alone with this overwhelming diagnosis and validates my fears and provides answers to my questions from a group of very amazing ladies! Thank you!

I had my my last PET scan in March and it showed that my tumor had no evidence of cancer just calcification, I asked one of the doctors I worked for what that meant and she said it was good, that the treatment was working. I have never had surgery, been on Ibranace and letrolzole for 2 years .so far so good still working 40 hrs a week and going to NY next week to see family. God Bless

Thank you for your encouraging reply. I’m so happy that you are healing and that Ibrance continues to work over time. When I read my Cat Scan report on the portal, I was hoping calcification meant no more cancer but was afraid to be hopeful. This group is a wealth of information and loving support!
