I got the results of my first Follow-up (comparison) PET scan. We waited 5 months to give it time. It’s mostly all good. Heck, great ! I get to continue on the Ibrance and Letrozole prescription and treat this like just a chronic disease. ( for now)
On a more somber note, my mom passed away two weeks ago. She was the original fighter in the family. She had breast cancer twice, bladder cancer and was on dialysis for seven years. She lived to the age of 83 and still gives me inspiration.

Oh Laura, what a way to receive good and bad news. My sincere condolences on your mom's passing.
But then how wonderful to get this great news! Congratulations. You inspire all of us to stay positive and hope for great results.
I am so happy for you! Brilliant news 🙏🏼♥️ My mum is also on Ibrance and letrozole she will get her CT scan in about a month or so.. I’m hoping and praying it is working. It had only spread to a tiny spot in her spine. I’m so sorry to hear about your mum ♥️
Awesome news for you. I am sorry to hear about your mom but it sounds like she was a pretty amazing lady and conquered a lot in her life. What an inspiration. I hope your treatment continues to work and things get even better.
I lost my mom in October ‘18 so I can understand how you feel but the news about your scan is wonderful. I think Ibrance and Letrozole are a ticket to a longer life for us.
I am so glad to hear the news about your health but so sad to hear that you lost your mother at this critical time in your life but she has left you a great legacy of being a fighter and showing you how precious life is. I pray that God will keep both of you in the palm of his hand.
