Lung nodules

Anyone else told they have innumerous nodules on their lungs? I also have extensive bone mets. I read that vaping can cause inflammation of the lungs and, since I quit right after my diagnosis, I'm hoping that my lungs clear up. I don't have a cough, can breathe deep and not even a wheeze ... insights? info? thanks and God bless you for reading and Jesus please heal us all, amen!

I was diagnosed with innumerous nodules bilaterally. After the Abraxane a lot cleared up. Most were tiny. There are 3in one lung that go up and down. I have a notmal oxygen saturation and breathe ok. I also have asthma, so symptoms get tricky. Before diagnosis I thought my asthma was acting up and it got to the point where I thought my inhaler wasn’t working well. I rarely use it now. Fingers crossed.

that is good to know! my primary looked so sad when I told him I thought my lung nodules were from vaping, he said "sorry, most likely not that", but I am the queen of denial so we shall see <grin>. so glad you are breathing well! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen! my mantra and prayer, Lord Jesus, hear our prayers! <3

My diagnosis of stage 4 was from finding “innumerable bilateral lung nodules”. Four months into my treatment with IBRANCE and letrozole the nodules they disappeared.

Best wishes to you!

I have lung nodules thank goodness they are still small enough to not be a concern. I have extensive bone Mets l figure that when l get progression it will be lungs. I have a cough sometimes, scan has showed radiation fibrosis. Best wishes, Mary.

I've read of so many whose lung nodules went away with treatment, may you be one of them! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen!

I am similar to NPmary, many bilateral lung nodules, fibrosis of right lung from radiation, as well as lung biopsy where they took a sizable piece of right lung. my surgeon also tried something called pleurodesis which was only partially successful as i couldn't finish it because of the pain (she was supposed to do the procedure during the biopsy surgery but they ran out of the talc that they inject in your chest tube). lucky me had to try it totally awake the next day. the reason for this procedure is to eliminate the possibility of developing pleural effusion of the lung since cancer cells were found in my pleura on my right lung. it was only partially successful but i can still feel it when i take a deep breath. its a sensation of pulling as the lining of the lung and the lining of the chest wall are stuck together so no more smooth gliding of the two spaces as you breath deeply.

i'm not sure if my being out of breath at times is related to all this or is it also a side effect of ibrance? i'm easily winded walking up the stairs or going for a hike (When i can).

I'm so sorry you're suffering! I have read that many on ibrance have suffered with pulmonary embolisms from blood clots. I am scared of this drug and haven't started it yet as onc went on vacation and left me hanging. i will most likely take it though as I want to throw everything I can get at this beast. I'm so wishy-washy since my diagnosis, only God knows what I/He/we will decide. I know He will lead me and show me the way. Thank you, Jesus! I was diagnosed in Dec. of 2016 with multiple Mets to spine and both lungs. The tumors in lungs were small. Also no symptoms from lung nodules. Ive been on Ibrance and a hormonal therapy drug since then.

In my scans, it shows shrinking of all nodules. And lungs nodules have not been mentioned in my last couple of Pet Scan reports, so I know the medications are working. Blessings.

Praise God and I am so happy for you! <3 Thank you for sharing. I'm watching the conference and how exciting when Devin talked about natural killer cells and said there are trials going on right now. The great thing about those is they don't have to take cells out of your body, they have producted NK cells in the labs that can go to EVERYONE! Sounds so promising, immunotherapy! I will hush for now, I do tend to go on and on LOL ttyl
