Does anyone have mets to the Hilar and Mediastistinal area

Hello, I have had lymph node mets in both these areas as well as a pleural effusion. Currently on Ibrance and Letrozole for 6 months. Last scan showed lymph nodes decrease by at least half and pleural effusion improving. Having next ct scan next Wednesday.

I am uncertain what areas this refers to. Kindly clarify for me?

I am Her2 neg, ER positrive, stage IV MBC.

I was told I had mets in my chest lymph and

sternum areas. I also have pleural effusion in lower right lung . I take letrozole for

past 5 weeks. also take supplements (canivora, graviola, will start laetrile (apricot

kernels). Have a pleurex catheter, removing fluid every other day.

Hello!My mother has BC ,stage 3,hormonpositive and Her 2 neg.The pet ct found out that she has met.lymphnodes in the internal mammary chain.She had no surgery,she was directly put on Ibrance+Letrozol.On ther oncologist recommended first surgery,but after a hard decision we "listened"to that onxologist who recomemded Ibrance.(and hope that that was the nest decision)She is on her secound cycle.We dont't know yet if it works or not.In may will she get her new scans.The first cycle she has tollerated ok,beside farigue nothing else.What are your experience with Ibrance +Letrozol?Thanks for everybody who answers!
