I have been using Ibrance and Fulvestrant injection since July aside facts have been tolerable but this last month I have been getting dehydrated I drink plenty of fluids but still dehydrated and I've never had that problem before. I was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem?

I do seem to be more thirsty some days but I blame the night sweats as well..not convinced it’s the Ibrance as I’m taking letrazole as well and that’s the anti oestrogen one which causes the sweats..ugh hate all this

Thank you answering not having night sweats thank goodness but 4 times my urine has turned brown with an odor along constipation and very dry skin.
I have upped my fluids.
Gosh that’s not nice..make sure you haven’t got a UTI as that can make your urine darker
I do get constipated but I assumed that was because I take opioid painkillers..I eat dried apricots to help with that and they are also high in iron and I have low red cell counts from Ibrance..I guess we all react differently to these horrible drugs..we don’t have a choice though!!
I’ve been taking Ibrance since June and hoping it will work for me..if it does I will endure the side effects

Hi Villazon. Yes, same problem but not sure it is just the Ibrance. Take letrozole and pain killers. Just went through a rather severe bout with dizziness and nausea. I sweat all the time....never was a sweater. Doctor told me to drink pedialyte, consume extra salt, drinking V-8 and boulion too. I find I drink 8-10 ten ounce glasses of water a day. Hard to keep up with hair, skin, lips—-all very dry.
I've been on Ibrance and Letrozole since April and I just started getting thirsty over the past 3 weeks.
So I never go anywhere without my water bottle, I take a small sip when my mouth gets really dry.
That usually happens when I am talking with doctors,nurses, therapist and folks at the grocery store.
When I'm home alone and not talking I'm not as thirsty except at night.
I don't have any pain and I don't have nights sweats.
I see it as a positive that makes me drink more water then I normally would.
I keep drinking but can’t stop being thirsty. Coconut water helps. I also just bought pedialite but it’s git a lot if sugar
I would suggest you stick with drinks without sugar. Why? because sugar makes you more thirsty. Try ice water, explore herbal teas, check out the variety of "Yogi" teas and drink them iced with honey and or lemon. Avoid the pedialite, also avoid any protein powder or drink with Essential and Non Essential Amino Acids. Why? Amino Acids feed cancer tumors.
I am on Ibrance/letrozole combo and have dry mouth and nails. I probably don't drink enough water.

Yes. I am dehydrated too. Also constipated on Ibrance and fulvestrant shots. Dr told me to drink more water.
yes AND constipated. I have to take miralax and movantik for that plus veggies, fruit snd flax. I’ve been gwtting better sbout making it a habit with eating but drinking is hard. I ferl like I just drink snd oee nonstop when I and drinking ebough!!!! 🤪
Hello sweetie, I have been in IBRANCE for a year, Letrozole, for 2 years, X GEWA for one year but I am ok with hydration.

A gallon of WATER daily !! Gotta do it!! Nit caffeinated or fruit or other sugar drinks! A gallon of water!! Can put lemon or lime in it. Even Pfzier states it!! Big difference.
Buy gallon glass jug fir countertop with spigot to measured! Makes life easy
Yep it is but a must.. Buy that jug from Amazon with a spout and keep on kitchen counter and you can keep better track. I like to put fresh lemon in mine as well
