My friend has Triple Negative breast cancer which metastasized to her lungs. If anyone has been treated for similar, I would greatly appreciate hearing what treatment(s) you had and how effective they were. Please include the drug names.
So far she took min. dose Xeloda for 3 months with with extremely min. Effect.

Hello! My sister was diagnosed with Triple Negative over five years ago (no metastases). I have read that a new line of drugs, called PARP inhibitors, have shown success for patients with metastases. The three drugs used are: niraparib, olaparib, and rucaparib. You may suggest to your friend that she ask her oncologist about these. If he has no info, I would suggest a second opinion. God bless you for seeking out help for your friend and good luck to her in her cancer fight! XO Linda
