Triple Negative

I am a 3 year survivor of triple negative breast cancer ,with a right breast mastectomy .I now have fibromyalgia and arthritis in all my joints. It's a daily struggle to get up and get my daughter going but I push through it daily , some days the bed wins. I find its great to have someone to talk with that has been through it and is still fighting . ..

Welcome, Ttayala63! Glad you found us. Sounds like you're one strong lady :)

It is a terrible thing to feel alone with no one to turn to. That is why SHARE is here. May I suggest that you contact us. You can call our helpline and speak to someone who was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer as well. Looking for a support group near where you live, we can help you locate one in the USA.

Check out our website at if you are interested.

Best of luck.

I volunteer for SHARE and also have MBC, which is HER2+. I'm sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia and arthritis, as if your TNBC diagnosis were not enough to handle. I'm glad you found this website, and please feel free to connect with us at any time. Joan

You might consider adding flaxseed oil, fish oil, and/or coconut oil to your diet. All may help. Boswellia (cream or ointment, also called Frankincense) may help topically. Walking, even if tricky, helps too. I am the founder of nonprofit Annie Appleseed Project which focused on natural strategies for cancer.

I do oil blends, and take the vitamins they recommend but sometimes it just gets the better of me, I am going to a new doctor soon I hope there are new options. I can't do much for if I do anything one day, if I clean my house the next day I am in pain and the flair ups are the worst. But I am a fighter and I will not let this beat me..Just like my cancer it can't win!!
