I am 12 years out from my primary diagnosis of stage 1 IDC, ER/PR+, HER-. Have had 5years arimidex, ovaries removed, radiation, bilateral mastectomies and reconstruction. Have had no "hiccups". Now, a routine blood test at my annual exam in October and a repeat test a week ago came back with elevated ALP, negative for coming from the liver but probably bone. I'm going to see the Onc nurse practitioner on Monday and the dr. In January. My primary care dr said we could wait a couple months or get it checked out now. Of course I cannot wait. Has anyone else had elevated ALP as a first sign of recurrence?
Thank you in advance 😀

Hi Veganmom , welcome to the community. I understand why you wouldn't want to wait any longer to get this checked out. How was the visit with the nurse practitioner? Please keep us updated on how things go. Wishing you all the best.
