Fighting this cancer for the second time!

I have metastatic breast cancer stage IV in lung ! I Am on Ibrance and Famara therapy since last may of 2016, I am having lots of side effects and was wondering if anyone on this treatment is ? Fluid in lung has gone and tumors have shrunk. Have cat scans this month again!

what kind of side effects? I've got fluid on the right lung and it's my main problem with state IV breast cancer. The fluid on the lung has caused my cough and weakness. The neuropathy from the Taxol chemo cut the fluid on my lung down, but gave me a wicked neuropathy, such that I walked like a pirate with 2 peg legs. I couldn't feel me feet below my ankles. That has improved in the last 8 weeks off Taxol, but the fluid returned to my lung. I just started Adriamycin to get the cancer again. Also have started Metformin to kill the cancer stem cells. Nausea has been a problem, but zofran and olanzapine have kept it under manageable control.

I am on letrozole and ibrance. My cancer came back stage 4 after 15 yrs. I don't really have any side affects

I am on the same Partia. Mine came back Stage 4 after 9 years last October. Thankfully, like you, I have also had no real side effects. Mine is only in my bones...and yours?

Mine is in my bones with small (real small) lesions in lungs. Scans April 3 so I am a little nervous. Best wishes to you in this "fight."

I started letrozole last night happy to hear you don't have any side effects I will start Ibrance when and if needed. Hope all stays well with you.
