felt a bit bruised

Hi. I had only five days radiation. Didn’t feel tired. My breast and below my breast and ribs, felt bruised. But went after a few months. I found finding a comfortable bra was more of a problem because of swelling from the op and also radiotherapy. Hope all goes well for you.

I’m sorry you are having pain. I am unable to wear a bra due to the pain. It aggravates a nerve that was spared during my mastectomy but was “beat up- for lack of a better term. I spoke with my lymphedema therapist and was able to get a compression camisole . This has worked well for me. It provides support without the constricting band of a bra. Hope this helps and you find a good solution.

That is what I wear now. Have a few colors and it really is more comfortable.
