I too tried to take control of my breast cancer. After surgery I made a decision to go back to work.v I felt that staying home would be mentally detrimental. So, I had chemo on Fridays and was well enough to ho back to work on Mondays. This attitude took me through 7 months oif chemo. I felt quite victorious when treatment was completed, and the cancer was no longer there.
