Thank you for your very descriptive and heartfelt article exposing our true selves. I experienced similar trepidation recently while at a beautiful retreat center in Oregon and wanting to soak without a bathing suit in their warm outdoor mineral baths. Grateful for Dipping in with my beautiful daughter at my side that the woman welcomed me without even a blink.

I had a unilateral mastectomy and later latissimus dorsi flap surgery to repair chest wall after re-radiation. Looking forward to future soaks at thermal/hot springs or mineral baths throughout the world.

That's so wonderful hear you had a good experiences in Oregon's healing baths post-mastectomy. I think it's very important we show women when breast cancer, and the healing afterwards, looks like. We're all beautiful miracles.
