Hi...
I’m not a doctor but if it is painful or enflamed you should have your doctor look at it. Could it have been from your razor? If so it will heal. For wounds I wash the area and do a final rinse with a saline or warm salt water, dry it off with a clean towel and apply some Medi-Honey or Manuka Honey to keep infection from occurring. If you’re sexually active it could be an anal wart, abscess or perhaps herpes, but your doctor can do a test to make sure. If you have been vaccinated for HPV, it won’t be an anal wart. Again, I’m not a doctor, though. Best wishes.
I’ve searched up anal wart but it shows them in bunches unlike mine it’s only like 1, but it looks the same, although since i’ve been using the bathroom i think i’ve teared the wart and it bleeds whenever i wipe
They don’t always come in groups, but check with your doctor. It might just be a torn piece of skin, and that area is not easy to heal. Does it hurt? If there’s no pain you may want to be tested for syphilis, but your doctor would be better at diagnosing than me.
It may be an ingrown hair or an anal abscess. (Ref: ww.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/anal-abscess ) Both can be caused/aggravated by shaving.
i was a little rough in that area i felt like a cut but wasn't sure thank you!
I would put money on abscess or infected cut.
A good friend is a transwoman. She has had whole body hair removal (except her head and a "landing strip." If this is a concern to you (as it is to many cisgender men and women as well as other genders), you may want to look in to professional removal (at a spa) or permanent removal.
Thankfully I am not a hairy person, but I do not find hair attractive (and neither did the women that I have dated). I have had a couple "problem" spots treated because shaving is very harsh on your skin and can be expensive.
Here are some shaving tips that my friend provided me from her experiences:
Soften the hair in a warm/hot shower.
Buy a better razor and blades. ($$$)
Always use a sharp blade (dull blades will pul at hairs).
Aloe shaving cream.
Lather the shaving cream into the skin with some water.
Let the shaving cream sit for a minute to soften the hair before shaving.
Some people use hair conditioner (instead of shave cream) which works well.
An after shaving skin conditioner can help.
While a cold rinse closes pores and makes skin feel softer, causes more ingrown hairs.
Depilatories burn the skin as well as the hair.
I can shave without having to look in a mirror. I do it by letting my hand lead and the razor follow to get the contours of the skin. I check how well I did by feeling for hair or stubble. This way I don't have to get in awkward positions to see where I am shaving or having a mirror in the shower.
Thank you for the advice! i shave since i am a bottom haha and sadly i can get kinda hairy so its a pain to deal with! i will definitely get a better razor. Thank you again for the tips
