Dealing with stressful people

I had a HA and 2 weeks in hospital 2 stents.

I am struggling with family member who is rude to me and feels this is all a fuss.

I feel anxious around them and asked them if they could not be so rude around me. All to no avail.

I feel bad about this but struggling with this.

She is a step daughter almost 20, I am try not to stress her, but find this stressful.

Any advice appreciated. I don’t want to be ‘evil step dad’ but do wish our home was a bit more relaxing.

Hello

How are you? It is important to ensure you allow sufficient recovery time for yourself following your recent medical experiences and procedures. This includes trying to avoid stressful situations, perhaps talk to your husband and let him know how you feel and that you require a period of rest/quiet to focus on recovery.

Kind regards
