I'm 7 months post ha with 2 stents, last being november. Signed off by cardiologist.
Trying to do some gardening today but just get so out of breath. Doing simple things and have to keep resting. Am I expecting too much?

Hi Debee, I’m very much still the same four years post HA. I’m convinced it’s your body’s way of now looking after your heart. Apart from generally having to slow down, I genuinely feel so very fit and well and sometimes need reminding that I ever had problems. My advise is chin up, be positive and every day be thankful for life. Keep gardening and enjoy life, at a slower pace !
My experience was that the meds they give you play havoc with your cardio fitness. As soon as I dropped the med's, radically changed my diet, dropped 28lbs and switched to a few supplements I gradually got back to fitness and running again.
Hi Debbie, one stent 2016, as your previous comment, I had tremendous difficulty with the medication re breathing and palpitations and had to have it continuously reviewed and changed, the solution for me was weight loss -36lbs and dietary changes use macros application On phone also drastically reduced medication. At 60 I now cycle 150 miles a week and work a 45hr week. There is a future, it’s in your own hands
Could be copd you need to have a lung function test
