Hi my partner had a cardiac arrest nearly 3 yrs ago. Does he still come under the vulnerable category for this Coronavirus. He said he’s fine but I still worry so much. I was so close to losing him and I don’t want anything to happen to him. Do you think I’m being silly.

yes i would believe so i have diabetes and had 3 heart attacks i had pad surgery and still have pad and a stent in the artery going to my kidney that was blocked with placque i have a leg still blocked that needs surgery yet and a small stomach aneryism so i consider my self to be at high risk if i would get the virus because my vascular system isnt great and my heart is not as strong after the heart attacks

Apparently u dont need to self isolate for 12 weeks , I'm on the same meds after heart attack and 3 stents and didnt get a letter if you read the guidelines it says we are high risk but have to be stringent with social distancing

Hope this helps

Thank you for your help. It’s so worrying I don’t let him do the shopping or mix anywhere where people are. Hope you stay well x
