You are 5 months on from what will always be the most traumatic thing you will ever have to face. I think I know how you feel. Like you my hubby had a sudden cardiac arrest and I was faced with doing CPR while I waited for the paramedic to arrive. Unlike you I was fortunate that my husband survived. Many weeks in ITU and then having an implanted defibrillator. I look back at that night and still recall all those emotions. We are now 6 years on and life, for us, is almost back to as normal as it will ever be.
Many on this forum will have had similar experiences to those that you have gone through just know we are all thinking about you and send our love and best wishes to you.
I am so sorry for your loss, may I offer my sincere condolences on behalf of the Charity. You did everything in your power to try and save him, if you need someone to talk to, please do not hesitate to contact our Patient Services Team either via the 'Chat' icon on the Forum or by calling 01789 867501 or info@heartrhythmalliance.org
Once again, I am sorry for your loss.
